Instructions on How to Make Your Strategy Look Nice in the CGS System

  1. Add Cover Images:

    • Each stage in your strategy can have a cover image to make it visually appealing.
    • To add a cover image, go to the stage (e.g., Planning, Implementation) and click Edit Stage.
    • Scroll down to the Cover Image section and upload an image from your system that represents that stage.
    • Once uploaded, the image will appear in the Kanban view, adding a visual element to your strategy.
  2. Customize Rooms with Cover Images:

    • Just like stages, you can add cover images to rooms within your strategy (e.g., Inventory room).
    • Go to the specific room, click Edit Room, and upload a relevant image.
    • This will enhance the visual layout of the room in the strategy, making it more attractive and intuitive.
  3. Embed Videos:

    • You can embed videos directly into rooms or stages.
    • In the room editor, paste an embed code from platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, or Wistia into the video section.
    • The video will appear at the top of the room and can provide a dynamic and interactive element to the strategy.
  4. Add Abstracts and Descriptions:

    • To make your strategy more informative, add an abstract (a short summary or description) to any room or stage.
    • Navigate to the Edit Room/Stage page and enter a brief description that will appear prominently, helping users understand the focus of each section.
  5. Use the WYSIWYG Editor for Custom Formatting:

    • The WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor allows you to format text, making it visually engaging.
    • You can add:
      • Bold text
      • Different font colors
      • Tables
      • Bullet points
      • Block quotes
      • Indented paragraphs
    • Use the editor to organize and format large blocks of text, making your strategy more readable and visually appealing.
  6. Add Images and Icons to Text Blocks:

    • Upload and insert images or icons into text areas for further customization.
    • You can choose from previously uploaded images stored in the catalog and adjust their size and position in the text to create a cohesive and professional look.
  7. Set Background and Foreground Colors:

    • Customize the background or text colors for sections of your content to differentiate important information or visually segment parts of your strategy.
