Instructions on How to See Gantt Chart Progress and the Dashboard in the CGS System

  1. Viewing Gantt Chart Progress:

    • Click on the Gantt Chart tab.
    • The Gantt chart will display the stages of your strategy (e.g., Planning, Implementation, Scaling) and the rooms within each stage.
    • If no specific time period is assigned to a room or task, the system will allocate one day by default.
    • Use the Chevron icon to expand rooms and view the tasks within them.
    • Tasks and rooms are color-coded:
      • Green: On schedule.
      • Red: Behind schedule or overestimated.
  2. Adjusting the Timeline:

    • You can adjust the time allocated for tasks and rooms by dragging them across the Gantt chart. Dragging from the right or left side will extend or shorten the time duration for the task or room.
    • You can also drag the room to adjust when it starts or ends, and the subsequent tasks will automatically adjust accordingly.
  3. Seeing Contribution Progress:

    • Rooms contributing to key results are marked with a green diamond.
    • Once a room is completed, its contribution to the key result is visually updated in the Gantt chart with a blue bar, indicating progress.
  4. Viewing the Dashboard:

    • The Dashboard provides a quick overview of progress, key results, and tasks.
    • Completed work is shown in blue, while unplanned or incomplete work is shown in red.
    • The OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) section shows the overall progress for all users, while the lower section displays the progress of tasks assigned specifically to you.
    • Completed tasks are marked with a blue indicator, while future tasks are displayed with grey and italic estimated dates.
